"We had the most amazing experience at Villa Everlong. Everything about the property was as described on the website. The attention to detail was incredible throughout the Villa. The owners were wonderful and very welcoming, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. You will need a car to get around, but you are close to the local village (Vamos), and accessing main towns like Chania and Rethymnon are very easy and an absolute must to visit. Also, there is a local taxi service that knows the Villa very well and can help out if you need extra transport. If you are hesitating about booking don't, just do it. You won't regret it! The view from the pool, balcony and garden over the surrounding countryside was wonderful. A car is needed to reach this private space, but the ‘welcome goats’ were usually there to greet us over the stone wall on our daily return! Tranquil amongst the olive groves and cicadas. Vamos is just a short drive away with a mini mart, great breakfast place and several restaurants.Kim and Yves were perfect hosts, easily contactable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The location is totally private and secluded and perfect for switching off, relaxing and unwinding. This is no ordinary holiday villa. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a luxurious as well as a functional space. The decor is stylish, light and bright. It has the most well-equipped kitchen I have ever encountered on holidays. The beds are so comfortable with high-quality bed linen and soft, fluffy towels. There is ample outdoor and indoor space for dining and relaxing, and we loved that every bedroom had its own private terrace and outside sitting area. I could not recommend this villa highly enough. There is an infinity pool, that remained at around 29 degrees throughout our stay, which was a cool enough relief from the heat of the sun, without being cold, but also a regular watering hole for the local swallows, who visit many times each day, dipping down to to take a drink right in front of you. They have been a constant joy to watch, and have felt like a real treat to behold.The villa has everything you could want or need, including a huge barbecue, coffee machines, juicers, multiple outside seating areas, sun loungers, candles, towels, flannels, hand and body wash, shampoo and conditioner, smart TV, and each of the three double bedrooms has its own en-suite bath/shower room. The elegant rooms are enormous and offer a lot of privacy.We also loved the outdoor built-in BBQ and the cosy outdoor area next to the swimming pool.The neighbourhood is lovely. "We stayed at Villa Everlong for 2 nights over the Easter Weekend and cannot wait to go back - The minute that you arrive and see the beautiful stone villa with the blue shutters you know you are in a special place.We have stayed in many villas in Greece over the years and the quality and attention to detail that Yves and Kim provide is second to none. The villa, grounds, pool and garden areas are superb and inside is a real treat. The kitchen is beautifully designed with every conceivable extra including a bean to cup coffee machine and a fresh orange juicer. The lounge has a beautiful fireplace and the views from the sofa of the sea are such that you don't want to move. We stayed in one of the ground floor bedrooms with direct access to the pool area and you could tell that the bed, linen and towels were of the finest quality. The showers were beautifully equipped and even these smaller rooms contained extras that you just wouldn't expect in a greek villa.We woke to the most gorgeous sunrise and had our coffee with the sea in front of us and the mountains behind - it was a special experience and we really didn't want to leave....." "I recently stayed a week in Villa Everlong. And a little piece of heaven is the best way to describe the experience. From the moment you catch a glimpse of those beautiful blue shutters you know you have arrived somewhere really special. Every detail has been carefully and lovingly curated - deeply comfortable beds, fluffy pillows and towels, a barissta style coffee machine - to help you relax, rejuvenate and enjoy. With coffee in hand i spent the mornings taking in the spectacular views over Souda bay while enjoying a dip in the pool or breakfast at the cleverly designed outside kitchen / bar. In the evenings we made our way to the nearby village to enjoy some fresh seafoid and a chat with the locals. I would highly recommend a stay in Villa Everlong i'm already planning my return trip!" A rental car is a necessity, but the drive was very easy from the airport, and although remote was very accessible to shops, restaurants and beaches. It was a wonderful break from the hectic rush of everyday life and allows every stress to melt away.This villa is absolutely beautiful with exceptionally designed interiors and breathtaking views. From sunrise to beyond sunset, I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the landscape of sea, olive trees, mountains and awe of stargazing. You can even catch a peek of rabbits, goats and hedgehogs, if you look closely. The interior of the house is gorgeous and exceptionally decorated. The sofa is large and comfortable and there is a huge television. The bedrooms are stylish with crisp linens adorning some of the most comfortable beds that I have I ever slept in. The bathrooms are large and provide every amenity that you will need – thick, soft towels, shampoos and bath soaps. You can soak away all your cares in the large bathtub with great views of the landscape. The kitchen will provide everything that you need and there is a professional outside Kitchen/BBQ with seating area. It was wonderful to have a cocktail by the pool and watch the sunset. The outside area provides several places to lounge by the pool, enjoy some snacks and drinks.The owners (Kim & Yves) were exceptionally kind and were very helpful to provide any recommendations/suggestions we needed. You have the complete feeling of privacy but can quickly be in the very close town of Vamos. There is a very good wine shop, butcher and baker in the area. If you want to dine out, there are also plenty of restaurants in the area. I can recommend Parasia Taverna, where there is local cuisine and live music on Saturdays.I absolutely recommend Villa Everlong. I cannot wait to go back." Cynthia Bradley

"We spent a week at Everlong in September. It was a magical week, the villa's location is unique with fabulous views of mountains, sea, olive groves, beautiful lush vegetation. The rooms, the outdoor area with different places to chill out, the pool were all fabulous. But most of all being a keen cook the indoor and outdoor kitchen lacked nothing. Indoors there is a state of the art gas cooker with all possible tools for cooking with. There are also many additional gadgets available to use such as a juicer and mixer. As a cook you lack for nothing. The outdoor kitchen is equipped with a state of the art barbecue and wine fridge, perfect for preparing those outdoorsy meals. All in all a perfect vacation villa."
